This list consists of a majority of all the available species, to play on Year 3000! Don't see a species here, and it isn't on the banned species list? Ask us! All Original Species are listed here, as well.
This list is organized into three categories: Humanoid, the ones that human, visually, but have powers, the Non-Humanoid, the ones that do not appear human, visually, regardless of whether they have powers or not, and the Human, the ones that appear completely human, yet do not have any powers, if you want a more exotic place for your character to be from, rather than Earth. Click on each name to view each section!
Braal - A planet where humanoid beings that possess the power to manipulate magnetic fields reside. Their representative Legionnaire is Cosmic Boy. Their representative Legionnaire is Saturn Girl. Winath - An agricultural planet with humanoid beings that have no powers, but, oddly enough, are always born in sets of twins. Their representative Legionnaire is Livewire/Element Lad. Imsk - A miniature planet with humanoid beings that possess the power to shrink. Their representative Legionnaire is Violet/Vi. Naltor - A planet with humanoid beings that all possess precognitive powers. Their representative Legionnaire is Dreamer. They have no representative Legionnaire.
Colu - A green-skinned race that are considered the most 'intelligent' of races, possessing an eighth level intelligence, while, in comparison, humans have a sixth level intelligence. Their representative Legionnaire is Brainiac Five. Kwai - A recently discovered insectoid species from the Second Galaxy, the Kwai have a very strong tracking sense, enabling them to lead the way through Thresholds. They have no representative Legionnaire, and their species sheet is here. Dryads - A race of rock-like beings whose planet was destroyed, with a majority of them sent out into space in their dormant state. A few have remained, however. Their representative Legionnaire is Blok. Khunds - A race that is not part of the United Planets, they are an extremely violent race, conquering many races, and their appearances tend to fluctuate. They have no representative Legionnaire. Yukawi - A small race of imp-like people known for being excitable, distractable, intelligent, and creative, generally lacking in common sense and often having lackadaisical, whimsical natures and practices. The submissive race on Nexalon, often serving as vassals to the Mahomec. They have no representative Legionnaire, and their species sheet is here. Mahomec - A race of tall, proud, and regal elf-like people known for being arrogant, vain, and generally dismissive of other races, cloistering themselves away in their capitol city. While potentially powerful due to each Mahomec having a unique ability, in addition to inherent magical ability (though rarely strong), seeing them outside of Nexalon's capitol is uncommon, and they have never left the planet due to their borderline xenophobic natures. They have no representative Legionnaire, and their species sheet is here. Vyrga - A planet filled with hive-minded insectoids, with very few free thinkers, a rare few of which possess the latent power of teleportation. Their representative Legionnaire is Gates. Talok VIII - A desert planet populated by the Talokians, a blue-skinned species, who are protected by their Shadow Champion, a hereditary title passed down amongst their royalty, who are the only ones to wield shadows as their power. Their representative Legionnaire is Umbra. Sklar - A matriarchal planet where technological piracy is common, and all members of the species have orange or white skin, with fair-colored hair. They have no representative Legionnaire. Hykraius - A planet that is entirely a large ocean, populated by yellow-skinned beings not in the typical humanoid shape, who possess both telepathy and telekinesis. They have no representative Legionnaire. Robotica - A recently formed planet made up of the intelligent AI and robotic species, that had formerly attacked Earth. They have no representative Legionnaire, but are represented by Babbage on the Legion Cadets. Dominators - A species of master geneticists with yellow skin and a prominent red circle on their head, which live in a rigid hierarchical society. They have no representative Legionnaire.
These races are completely normal, human races, albeit in different locations, so if you want to add a bit of spice to a character in this way, these would work! Be sure to do a touch of research on them, just in case, by googling "[planet name] legion".
