It was quiet today. No missions for her to go on, no people for her to find, no, well, anything for her to find. Exploring all of the habitats that existed on Legion World was certainly an option (she did truly need to view them all, all of the other types of planets were very interesting), she… did not feel like doing it alone. Jazim Legion was busy, Wildfire was on a mission (she did not know what he was doing, only that it certainly was not important, as he had spoken about it in quite the disgruntled way before he left), so perhaps Green Legion?
Somehow, she doubted she would be able to cause him to leave his lab, but perhaps he would talk with her? Or she could volunteer for tests, he could attempt to figure out her power and she could prove that it was not ‘magic’, and that he would have to listen to her…
It seemed to be a thing that came up quite a bit whenever they spoke together.
Regardless, the Kwai certainly felt as though it was a good choice to make, to go find and speak with Green Legion, so carefully, the girl unfolded her wings, getting up from her seat (and after flitting to put her cup of… something, she did not know the name, but it was dark brown and tasted sweet, away) and taking to the air, carefully navigating the hallways. It was easy to move, in them, careful consideration having been given to the fact that many of the Legion members were not entirely humanoid, and that there would be flying done, and it was a nice flight for Shikari.
A quick flight, yes, but it was honestly a rather odd thing, to not move and fly, and spend so much time not doing anything… She was unsure how many of her teammates could do it so easily. It was difficult for her.
She was there, now, though, and the girl carefully alighted, before opening the door to peek into her friend’s lab. “Green Legion?” she called carefully, looking around the room (she did like his lab, much more than Sneaky Legion’s lab, it was nice) for her friend. “Are you busy?”
Hopefully he was not, it would be nice to speak with her friend, if only for a short while...

"Green Legion?"
Querl rolled his eyes a bit at the voice behind him. Shikari had been here for how long now? He had really hoped she could have stopped addressing people by the color of their skin. She still slipped sometimes, and 'Jazmin Legion' was on the verge of a blowout. She didn't take kindly to racist remarks, even if they were said in ignorance. Though Shikari was still new to the first galaxy, Querl would have imagined she had learned to stop calling people their color.
"Brainiac Five, actually. Though I am in the middle of something, I am not exactly caught up in it. Can I help you with something?" He replied, turning away from the holos in front of him that were just littered with equations to face her. Was that hot chocolate she was holding? He was about to speak up and enforce the 'no food in the laboratory' rule, but she seemed to be about done with it, so he just bit his tongue on the matter.

"Brainiac Five," she corrected, listening, and stepping further into his lab. Their names were just so odd here... It was preferable to call them otherwise, and she had gotten accustomed to it, but... They did not seem to like it. Well. She would accept it when they corrected her, though unless one decided to sincerely speak with her about it, she would continue.
It was familiar, nice, and the names actually made sense.
"I was hoping to speak with you?" the Kwai stated in response, her statement turning into a question as she curiously drifted over to where her friend was, blinking at the holos that were covered with... Green Legion things. She should get him to explain all of his work to her, one day, it seemed very interesting, and she was most certainly curious. "What are you working on?"
Turning bright, questioning eyes upon him, Shikari did hope that he would answer (her question punctuated by a last sip of her drink, which she truly did need to find out the name of), because she wished to speak with another, and Green Legion was her friend... If not, exploring was in order, but conversation would be better.
Being alone was typically not enjoyable.

Querl gave the slightest, ephemeral smirk at her correction, and scratched at the back of his head a bit. "Hoping to speak with me? About what I'm working on? Is this small talk, or are you actually interested in physical equations?" He asked, slowly beginning to relax his posture. Shikari was a familiar, after all. He might go as far as to deem her a 'friend', though he would never outright call anyone that under normal circumstances. Her company might be obtrusive, yes, and would decrease his working speed by approximately 34% when around, but he wasn't about to usher her out. She hadn't exactly done anything to warrant that yet.
Turning back to his holoscreens, and gliding his fingers upon them, selecting and changing and modifying his work, he tried to explain exactly what he was doing. Though, perhaps his use of physics terms and excitement over majorana fermions went over her head a bit. The calmness and enthusiasm that had came over him as he chattered about his work dimming slightly as he turned his head just to find a puzzled look.
"Are you sure you want to know about what I'm working on? Or are you restless? Bored, perhaps?"

He was quite calm as his blank eyes scanned over the objects in front of him. A small plant, diminutive with the most delicate and beautiful flower donning its frail stem. In ancient times, it was called an orchid, and only recently had he gotten a strand of this species to survive. Gears dark hand gently stroked the edge of the dark veined petal, and frowned as he gave all the stats on his computer a dark gaze.
Something was causing the plant to wilt, and he just couldn't understand why. He had given it the perfect amount of sunlight and water, even going so far as to tamper with nature even more to make everything perfect for this delicate plant. However, it still had slumped over leaves, and it took a small metal pole to keep it standing up.
He sighed and placed another ice cube in the center of the pot so it would get the perfect amount of water at least. Why couldn't he save the plant? He had done more research on the frail being than any other plant from its bio-system, and he had run all the trials. What was he doing wrong?
He rubbed his eyes tiredly, shaking his head as he leaned over the table. Maybe.. He needed to leave it to nature and just resort to the basics again. He pulled in his cords and equipment and took a walk down the hall. Then, a noise filled his ears and he turned slightly, glancing over his shoulder through the various other equipment toward Querl's lab's direction. Though he didn't exactly enjoy his co-worker, he dealt with him as well as he could, and he had learned all of Querl's basic reactions in many situations.
Hopefully this would be one of his better ones, and so far from what he could hear, it was. He calmly and quietly slipped down the hall and into the room with the other two. He gave a small smile as he appeared from the doorway and recognized who Querl was speaking to.
Shikari had always registered as such a kind and innocent being in his mind, and he knew that even Querl would find it hard to be rude to her. "Hello, Shikari, I trust you are well." he stated calmly as he stared at her with those blank white eyes of his. "Was I intruding upon anything of great importance, Querl. I heard Shikari enter and it seemed of more interest to investigate than to continue straining myself with my current work." He looked upon them both with inquisitive eyes, or at least as inquisitive as his white eyes could get.

"Both?" she replied, considering her answer. "Your work is interesting, and I do want to speak with you..." The Kwai was still uncertain as to why was called 'small talk'. There was nothing small about, in her opinion... It was nice, to speak with another in such a manner.
Green Legion went on to speak, though, and... she did not quite understand. The words were very unfamiliar to her, and she was uncertain if it was merely her grasp of the language that caused her to not comprehend, or if it was just another example of why another name for him was 'Smart Legion'. A mix of both, perhaps. Regardless, she retrieved a seat, carefully placing herself on it (backwards, she noted, but she preferred being able to lay her hands along the rest of the seat and let her chin rest on them), hooking her legs lightly around the base of it, and attempted to comprehend what her friend was saying.
It did not work very well, and it apparently showed on her face, evidenced by the other's question... "I am 'bored', yes, but you may continue, Gree- Brainiac Five." It was difficult, to remember to not call himself that, but she would attempt, and she gave him a small smile. "I enjoy listening to you speak." Even if she had no comprehension of what he was speaking of.
However, they were interrupted by the voice of another, and Shikari turned lightly in her seat, spinning neatly so she faced the other direction, wings now pressed up against the back of the seat (another reason for sitting backwards, she had found) so that she faced the other person. "Gear Legion," she greeted amiably, recognizing the other Legionnaire. He was certainly not one of the ones that she knew well, as he was neither one of the 'Original Legion', or one that she frequently saw when she 'hung out' with her friends, but he seemed pleasant, and was nice to her, the few times they interacted.
"Smart Legion was telling me his work," the Kwai found herself explaining. "Very interesting." If far above what she could understand...
