Yeah, I get that the Titanet exists and all, but for my purposes The Wire is simply and old networking system that Condo stumbled upon and has been gaming on with other hackers and geeks since he was a wee nerdling. I've no doubt someone like Lyle would have been able to find it, too. Separate from the Titanet, but really only useful for communication and gaming and reading books and history files online. Condo plays lots of ooolllddddd games, ones that exist now or newer versions that no one plays because of newer, shinier virtual reality and holo gaming. Frankly, I'm the same. I prefer older games and older MMOs that DANG YOUNGSTERS DON'T KNOW ABOUT LOLOLOL
All joking aside, the harmless nerds and old-school gamers on The Wire are the closest he has to friends. He's not allowed on Titanet except for current news updates, and those are somewhat filtered by his "handlers".
If folks don't want me referring to it or using it, that's fine, but it's not as if it'll be a big thing outside of his personal plots and chatting/gaming.
