- Real Name: Tinya Wazzo
- Codename: Phantom Girl
- Nicknames: Phantom
- Species: Bgztllan
- Gender: Female
- Age: 16 years old
- Alignment: Legion of Superheroes
- Face Claim: Retroboot
- Powers: Tinya has the ability to go intangible, meaning that she can shift through literally anything, solid or otherwise. She can shift back and forth, and has recently learned that when she’s in her phased state, she can mess with electronics and the like, and can stay in this form as long as she likes. She’s also got a mean right hook, and can fly (without a flight ring, which… haven’t been invented yet).
- Weaknesses: Well, for one, when enemies can’t hit her… She can’t hit them, either, meaning she’s often got to slip back and forth rather quickly. Tinya’s also not a trained fighter, so when she does fight, it’s just pure guessing and instinct, rather than any knowledge, but hey, she tries her best. Also, she sometimes forgets that things are a little different here than back home, so makes remarks about things that people frequently don’t know about or can’t do yet.
- Relatives: Mother – Winema Wazzo, Father - Deceased
- History: Tinya was born on the planet of Bgztl, a planet in a dimension neighboring the United Planets. Everyone on that planet was able to phase just as she could, but her mother was the president of the entire planet, something which, unfortunately, set her apart. Her mother kept a very watchful eye on her daughter, as Tinya had a bit of a wandering spirit and wanted to travel badly, which caused a bit of resentment from her, as she believed her mother thought she couldn’t take care of herself (which… was probably true).
Thus, the instant she turned fifteen, she was off, exploring the cosmos and the like, hitting planet after planet as quickly as she could. It was a grand adventure, one that her few friends (the president’s daughter wasn’t allowed to befriend just about anyone, oh no) occasionally accompanied her on, and while her mother cast a disapproving eye over her adventures… Tinya couldn’t help but think it was the most fun that she had had in her life.
And then, one day, she spotted the wormhole. She had never seen one before, though she knew they cropped up occasionally, portals to other dimensions, and, well… What could an adventurer do but hop into it? Tinya ended up running into the Science Police, who were investigating that wormhole, but was soon rescued from her predicament by Mr. Brande, who took her in. And then, well, the instant she heard of the Legion… she was in.
What better way to have some fun and adventure, right?
- Personality: Tinya’s a good mix of sweet and sour, in her opinion. On one hand, she’s a pretty darn friendly person, really good at getting even reclusive people to open up and maybe have some fun, and while she can seem like an oblivious airhead occasionally… she’s not. She truly cares about everyone she befriends, and loves to just hang out with people, having fun, chatting, giving advice… She’s really open, and easy to talk to, she feels. She just loves people, y’know?
On the other hand, though, she’s got a sarcastic streak, though she’s not really mean about it, that pops out occasionally, and she’s a bit of a goofball, messing around and the like. Tinya loves to good-naturedly rib people, although they don’t always take it in that way, and just honestly wants life to be fun, games and adventure and all the like, and doesn’t much like it when people rain on her parade. But messing with them’s always a blast.
- Aspirations: To have some grand adventures!, to make some awesome new friends, to have a blast, to prove that she can totally handle herself, and to land a cute boy.
- Fears: To lose one of those great new friends, to prove her mom right, that she can’t handle herself, and to never be able to go home again.
- Alias: Poet
- Other Characters: None as of yet!
- RP Sample: Hm… Where was the lab? The Holo-vid message had been an interesting surprise, she felt, and hey, the boy, Brainiac, seemed like interesting company. His insults and words had honestly made her laugh, because he was trying to be insulting, that much was clear, but… He was a cute little boy! How old was he? He certainly looked younger than her, but maybe his species… Colan? Something like that? Aged differently. Would definitely explain the big words that he was using, she had lost him at some points.
Still, she got the gist. If you’re an idiot, stay out. Thankfully, she wasn’t an idiot, and as for the ‘no touching’ rule, well, she could just stay intangible the whole time, and not touch anything. He’d be fine with that, right? She just hadn’t met any other Legionnaires, aside from the ‘Big Three’ (as she had dubbed them), and they were a bit busy with the whole ‘new Legionnaire’ business, so it’d be nice to see another face around here.
Even if he didn’t seem so friendly.
Coming to a halt, Tinya frowned slightly, examining the spot where the lab was supposed to be. There was… nothing here. No door, unless that door a little bit back was it…? Nope, that wasn’t it. Huh. Biting on her lip slightly as she considered, the girl ran over her course. She had gotten directions to the lab from Saturn Girl, who had given pretty good ones (and even put a quick pic in her mind, great), but… no lab. Had she taken a wrong-
Oh! Bonking her forehead with the palm of her hand, she grinned brightly, problem solved. She was on the wrong floor! Time to go up! Flitting upwards through the ceiling, her head emerged from the floor, followed by the rest of her body, up to her waist as she peered around what looked to be the lab curiously. Cool. She had no idea what half the stuff in here was, but cool.
And there must be Brainiac! “You must be Brainiac, hi! I’m Phantom Girl!”
